Alana De La Garza is beautiful and is leaving a mark on the screen. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas before moving in Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles including local independent films and world-wide commercials. Although she only had a few parts, she soon discovered her passion for acting. Then she moved from New York and in 2001 she landed her first part on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She was cast in her first big role in 2004's miniscule drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The most memorable part of her career was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even a few ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded the Impact Award, which is an award for the best performances in the drama TV series. De La Garza landed a recurring part in CSI Miami a few moments afterwards. She played Marisol Delko's wife and David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. Her most current TV work was on NBC's darker thriller Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The series was cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian and is the younger sibling of Cory. She was raised by strict and religious parents. Milano was first introduced to acting at the age of seven old. She was accompanied by her babysitter to a talent show. Milano was among four girls picked from hundreds of applicants. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off-Broadway plays and her role in the American premier of Jane Eyre.
