Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson knew that there would be never a second chance once they got together in their Hamburg church. Ashley was only 17, was never in any kind of romantic relationship and took everything very slow. However, it was true the first time they met. Andrew asked God at New Year's Day just as 2016 was about to begin. Andrew demanded God for one final favor for the year to see Ashley accept his proposal and be married. Ashley had always wanted a romantic, woodsy themed wedding with a folk theme that really represented her as well as Andrew. The wedding combined everything that was important to them. The wedding venue was the back 40 acres of the land Ashley was raised on. Ashley was familiar with the entire region, exploring it, and played in the area. Andrew and Ashley also had been to several times since they got married. It was important to personalize the wedding since nearly every aspect involved the DIY of the bride and groom. Ashley created and painted some of the decor, while Andrew and Ashley's dad designed the seating area and the ceremony arch. Ashley says, "Our wedding would not be the magical experience I had always envisioned if Anna's beautiful floral arrangements had not been put in place." Truly breathtaking.
